Co-founders of the Summit, Ryan Li and Vincent Qiu, met with Yu Min Hong, President of the New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc on June 26th 2016.
In 2014, the group was named one of the 50 most influential commercial leaders in China. In 2014, Yu co-founded the Aplus Entrepreneurial Fund, and has played a large role in the development of the chinese education. The Group is now considered as China's biggest and most influential private education organization, and a pioneer in the education industry.
Yu the the Summit's various educational and business partnerships, in particular the cooperation between the Summit and the Jiangsu Provincial Office for Foreign Affairs. Yu recognized the importance of the Summit's efforts to create a platform for open dialogue that strengthens the relationship between China and the UK.
Furthermore, they discussed the New Oriental Groups' future plan to enter the British market and explored potential avenues for cooperation. The Sino British Summit has agreed to assist the New Oriental Group in establishing ties with educational leaders in the UK, and looks forward to continuing our work in improving opportunities for young people in education.
